PLC Protection System Based on Verification Separation

Supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADAs) play an important role in supervising controlling industrial production with the help of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) (ICSs). A PLC receives information or program from a SCADA to equipment feeds back SCADA. Once is controlled by attacker, it may threaten safety production. The lack security protection, such as identity authentication encryption for protocols, increases potential risks. In this paper, we propose protection system combined monitor between physically separated monitoring station. By using system, verification command are separated, both operator corresponding commands recorded. Experiments show that even if our could still protect field record key operator, which facilitates tracing forensics malicious activities.
